ANIMAL FARM CAST AND UNDERWAY...

We are delighted that after an extremely successful audition, we have cast our second version of Animal Farm. We are delighted to welcome three new actors to the cast - Rachel, Jodie and Hayley who will be rehearsing with the cast from July. The tour will commence at the National Media Museum in September and will continue throughout the rest of the year and into 2010. More details coming soon.

GREAT FEEDBACK FOR 1984...

Our most recent production, 1984, was a huge success for both Paper Zoo and the National Media Museum who hosted the production and provided a phenomenal amount of support. Plans are afoot to revive the production for touring, so watch this space! We received excellent feedback from our sell-out audience. A podcast of the post-show discussion can be downloaded here.

We are delighted to announce that Paper Zoo's production of 1984 at the National Media Museum on June 3 has SOLD OUT. We are, however, performing once again the following morning on June 4 at 11am. To ensure you get one of the hottest tickets in town, call the box office now on 0870 70 10 200.

Members of the cast and creative team from 1984 will be taking part in a post-show discussion after their production on June 3 at the National Media Museum. Led by the event organiser, Fozia Bano, the discussion will include an interview of the cast members and their reason for staging Orwell's classic. The discussion is included in the ticket price and will begin after the performance.

JOHN HURT to play BIG BROTHER...
|
|
|
Legendary screen and stage actor JOHN HURT is to play Big Brother in Paper Zoo's production of 1984. Representatives from Paper Zoo filmed with John Hurt in London in March. The actor will not physically appear on stage, but exclusively filmed footage of the actor will be screened during the production. Tickets are on sale and are limited...BOOK NOW.

Big Brother is watching...
Paper Zoo are well underway with rehearsals for their production of 1984, which will be staged in June 2009.
In early March, Paper Zoo enlisted the amazing talents of a legendary actor who will portray Big Brother on-screen throughout the production.
Watch this space to find out who exactly "will be watching you" during the production.

The Bells...The Bells...
Paper Zoo's production of Leopold Lewis' 'The Bells' was performed on Wed 10th, Fri 12th & Sun 14th December at The Bradford Playhouse.
A dark tale of regret and remorse this adaptation of a Victorian chiller has been given a local flavour and the usual Paper Zoo treatment. If you like your Christmas plays dark and surreal this is the show for you!
